Mariya Vasileva Lozanova
I was born on 08.09.1984 in Pernik, Bulgaria. In 1990 I started dancing in the Children Ballet Studio in Pernik. Between 1994 and 2002 I studied in the National Ballet School- Sofia, Bulgaria under Fany Cherneva and Silvia Tomova. I have taken part in the school performances and the performances of the Sofia National Opera and Ballet, Bulgaria. Between 1996 and 2002 I took part in the International Summer Ballet Academy in Varna under Tadeusz Matacz, Mikhail Krapivin, Dinna Bjorn, Michael Denar, ect. I have taken part in national and international ballet competitions (1999-2001). In 2001 I danced in JBFs performances in Sofia during their Balkan tour. I have taken the last two school years in one, and graduated in 2002. Since 2002 I am working in the Sofia National Opera and Ballet, Bulgaria. In 2004 I was awarded 3rd Prize at a National Ballet Competition.
