Patrick Sham just got a new washing machine. He likes it because it has a delayed wash function which allows him to put his clothes in hours before his time-of-hanging-up-on-the-washing-line, and because he can open the door mid-wash see the mesmerising swirl of laundry inside. But most of all, Patrick likes his washing machine because it distributes the washing powder and fabric softener perfectly.

Laundry aside, Patrick is a guitarist and songwriter for emerging rock band The 44th Calibre . He lives and breathes every form of rock music, and defines himself as an aspiring rock star-veterinarian. Although much of his time is dedicated to jamming with the band, he also eats and sleeps.

Epilogue is Patrick's acting debut. Despite this however, he was a natural in front of the lens, and his subtle yet intense acting style set a tone of tragedy for the entire film. His favourite actors and actresses include Robin Williams and that chick from Roswell, a television show that is unfortunately discontinued.

What is the meaning of this all new washing-machine-ism? Patrick Sham knows the answer to that question, "It means that I can sleep sound at night knowing that my washing will be ready the very next morning." Hmmm, Yes. In this modern world of insecurity, confusion and chaos, a quality washing machine is the difference between a happy musician and a miserable one. We all want clean clothes, and Patrick is one who embraces that fact like he embraces power chords, pull-offs and bends.

And so, Patrick Sham and his washing machine set out on the journey towards the world of Music-dom. And in the end, they arrived at their destination and started watching TV.
