Ajita Goh Composer

Full Name: Ajita Goh YunRu
Date of Birth: 9 August, 1988
Place of Birth: Singapore

There was once someone who said, "Making music is like making paper darts." The inherent truth in that statement cannot be challenged. Both take up a lot of your time, both involve the input of your heart, soul and dedication, and both are subliminally enriching artforms which take a lifetime to master.

Okay, what I just said then had no rocket-science philosophy whatsoever, so let's move onto something else. Ajita loves Brahms . In fact, if Brahms was alive today she would probably marry him. Like every other reminicising soul out there, she is eagerly anticipating the creation of either: a) a consumer grade time machine, or b) a military scale cloning corporation, whichever comes first. While we count down to that apocalypse though, Ajita spends her time composing music and shopping.

Hmm, yes. Ajita Goh is one of those modern composers who fuse together elements of seemingly unrelated genres to form totally new works. Sort of like how people write semi and circle and fuse the two together to make semi-circle . Yes, compound words. Ajita loves JPop and classical music, and just like her influences, her own musical compositions show an equal diversity. Her works include anything from fully-fledged orchestral fantasies to time-warp advertisement jingles. For the music of Epilogue , Ajita went in another direction yet again, choosing to characterise the chilling mystery with a lonesome piano part throughout the entire film.

Quite recently, Ajita discovered a certain kind of electronic device, one which allows the user to insert a circular disc and subsequently hear music come from what are known as Speakers. When asked where she wanted to be in 15 years' time, she answered, "Other than being married to Brahms v2.0, I'd like to be in a recording studio, observing an orchestra as they record my pieces onto one of those round and shiny circular discs."
