Hamish Fletcher hates the system. When he was sent a profile sheet to fill out, he mentioned 'profanity-ing the system' multiple times. So the question comes down to, what is the system? That is a very hard question to answer indeed. Does Hamish mean System in the cog-in-the-machine sense of the word? Or System as in the yes-sir-all-systems-are-functioning System? Hmmm, I guess the most obvious question is, 'Is Hamish an anarchist?'

I'm not quite sure, because when asked about what his dreams and aspirations for the future, Hamish did not provide me with a career path or an occupation. No, he responded, "I want to make a difference in the world." That sounds incredible indeed, and when I asked him how he finds contentment and happiness in his life, he answered, "By looking into the eyes of those who I meet and letting our souls confront." I didn't exactly understand that either, so I asked him where he saw himself in 15 years time. And I got this, "Anywhere, just as long as I'm profanity-ing the system and I'm not being tainted by society." That was the last question of the interview and I was left scratching my head.

Up to this day, I am still pondering the meaning of his words.
