Insert hook behind work into first sc of prev rnd, yo, draw lp through and complete a sc, ch 4.





Insert hook from behind between petals into next sc from prev rnd and make another sc, you now have a lp behind the first petal and the petal should now be standing up. Continue around rose, making ch-4 lps behind all petals.





At the last petal, do not sc, you will continue by starting the next rnd of petals. The back of your rose should look like the above picture.





In each ch-4 lp around make sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc and sc. The above pictures shows what the petals should look like back and front.





Make another rnd of ch-4 lps same as the previous rnd of ch-4 lps.
In each ch-4 lp around make sc, hdc, 5 dc, hdc and sc. Insert hook behind work again into first sc of prev rnd and complete a sl st. End off.





Your rose should look like the above picture when you are through.
