Midwest

Often confused with the South, the Midwest is the area between the Great Plains and the East Coast. Many of the areas here are a mixture of suburbs, cities, and sleepy towns, acting as a sort of transition area between the Great Plains, the South, and the East. Most of the identity of this area is tied to the Mississippi and Ohio rivers, which once acted as a lifeline to cities nestled along its banks many centuries ago. Filled with a rich diversity, many stories can be found about the adventure and excitement that once thrived along the rivers.

Cleveland rocks. Cleveland rocks. Et cetera. Saladin sits inside an aerial dropship heading towards the site of the disturbance, presumably with a few other Repliforcers also responding to it. He cradles his Byron MX-600 as he does final checks on it to make sure it's working, slapping a fresh magazine of AP 'sharptooth' rounds into the reciever at the end of the bullpup stock.

Saladin

Saladin stands seven feet and two inches tall, a stocky brute in metal armor. He has no 'face' in the traditional sense, simply a shiny gray plate that betrays no emotion or expression. A cool, blue visor houses his optic circuitry, the only break in the monotony of his faceplate. A dark blue helmet is affixed to the rest of his cranial case, sleek curves swooping over his head and covering the sides and back of his cranium. A smooth, gray neck disappears into a wide, heavy metal collar, a part of his Khan PS-33 armor's torso piece. His armor is blue, a heavy chestplate with a Repliforce logo on the right breast between two large shoulder-plates. His bulky armor cover his abdomen in a seperate piece, allowing his chest to pivot left and right. His arms are also covered in blue plating, housing powerful servos, with unarmored points at the joints of the elbow and wrist to allow for articulation. The backs of his hands have armor plates, although his gray fingers and palms are left bare. His forearms house plates that look as if they can move aside, to reveal integrated weaponry.

A ring of armor loops around his waist, large pouches on either side housing extra ammunition and supplies. His thighs are covered in the same robust, blue armor that protects the rest of his frame, a compartment jutting out from his left thigh. Small armored bulbs protect the fronts of his knees, his shins and feet encased in rugged blue durasteel.

Typically slung over his back, or carried in his hands, is a stocky Byron MX-600 bullpup carbine, the gunmetal gray surface kept meticulously in shape. A large clip is loaded into the back of the stock in typical carbine fashion, taking full advantage of the shorter barrel. A hand grip is farther up on the rifle, just below where the barrel begins. A pair of clasps on the underside of the barrel supports a large, long serrated bayonet, extending beyond the end of the rifle's barrel.

From afar, Wind Man (XSM) copies: This just in! A group of Robot Masters have been spotted attacking the Legitimate Science Research Facility in Cleveland, Ohio. Happy Fun Technologies, the corporation which owns the facility, has been consistantly tight-lipped about exactly what this facility is working on, saying only that it involves new applications of nanotechnology. Apparently the Robot Masters have decided to find out for themselves! And now for your local weather: Windy with a chance of mayhem! Stay bundled up and be sure to bring lots of firepower!

Flash Man himself is taking his time, checking everything to see if it is what he wants. Though there is the occasional explosion sound, it's usually a muffled scream instead. Unlike Quick Man, he's not looking for guards. He's looking for the experiment. Of course, the fact that he is much slower might have something to do with the fact that there's less guards when he gets to most areas.

Barrage Raptor is on the same dropship as Saladin, going over a final check on her primary weaponry, "Everything looks green." She murmers to herself, mostly, as she gets ready for deployment.

Frost is around and about. Actually, he's out near King. Searching isn't his forte, and ther'es a good chance he'd actually break what he's trying to find, so he's here for the 'just in case' scenario. As in, just in case people decide to give the Masters a hard time.

King stands at the entrance of the lab and sees the dropship. King steps forward where he can obviously seen. "Come, Repliforce. Challenge the might of King." King reaches behind him and pulls out his royal shield. The ambient light reflecting off the well polished shield.

Shield Shellfish flies into the area from the skies above, landing outside of the building and trying to figure out how exactly and where the Masters are. Of course...this probably draws some attention...but she has to get inside and fast to help defend.

"<We got a big boy,>" the voice of the pilot crackles into the belly of the dropship. The VTOL craft, after doing an initial circle of the facility, slowly moves to set down about fifty yards away from King at the entrance as it lays down a broad dispersal of gatling fire in King's general direction, as well as the rest of the facility - not meant to hurt anyone or do significant damage, just force Masters and drones outside the lab's entrance to take cover. Don't want the 'forcers to be sitting ducks. "<Go! Go! Go!>" the co-pilot's voice crackles into the belly, as Saladin stands and lumbers out the back of the transport, his servos whirring as he makes a break for a hovertruck on its landing props near the facility, while the situation is appraised.

Quick Man appears at the door with King and Frost Man, a whole pile of canisters in his hands.. a variety of differant things, it appears. "I grabbed everything that looked like an E-tank." He notes.. just in time to be shot at by the descending craft. "Holy crap!" He cries, dodging back inside the entrance and dropping the canisters in a big pile with a tremendous racket. "We've got incoming!"

Just rushing into the situation wasn't going to help anything... besides getting you shot at quite a few times and then having your body tossed outside by the Masters. Such a situation required some planning, and the Masters wouldn't be able to escape if the location was surrounded. Of course, that wouldn't help the people who are stuck inside - and tha would not sit well with the public. Signas flicks his cigarette away with two fingers, stifling his irritation. These sort of things always tended to happen on his day off. But for the moment, he wanted to see if there was an appropriate disposition of forces here - and so he watches from atop a nearby hill, waiting for all of the players to reveal themselves.

Wind Man is not making quite as much noise as the other two non-Elites, proceeding in a more efficient and methodical search pattern instead, bowling guards out of his way with powerful blasts of wind as he wanders through the many rooms on the top level looking for what might be a key laboratory or a project storage area. Mostly so far he only finds unimportant facilities, restrooms, cafeterias, communications, and the like.

Now, let's see. What is the worst possible place for a civilian noncombatant to be?

Why, here, of course. Where else? Upon hearing of the impending attack by the Robot Masters, a certain Fool went, 'ahah! There is my night's entertainment, and so there I shall go,' and being the complete fool that he is, he did exactly that.

At least he's smart enough to stay well away, but just close enough to hear and watch with his enhanced senses, and possibly to be seen and stepped upon.

And he's brought a lawnchair. How Robot Masterish of him.

Of course, Enker is watching-- it's something that comes naturally to him, and he never hesitates to follow along with his fellow Masters... and Elites, if it is permitted. This time? Oh, of course it has. But he is not within the facility-- he is quietly observing, though not hiding himself, his Mirror Buster leaned up against his shoulder. He's not too far away from the Stealth Transport, but not close enough that someone would spot him /near/ it, specifically.

Flash Man walks out of the building with a piece of paper in his hand, and then sees who is waiting for him. "Um..." He, too, ducks back in, but not without taking the paper with him. It seems that he is protecting it.

Slash Man arrives from the Great Plains.

Slash Man has arrived.

You can see Frost's optics boggle ats the guns start to open fire. In a rare moment of brillance, Frost slams his fists into the ground, a big wall of ice forming up before him. Of course heavy weapons of a VTOL knock massive pieces off the wall, but it works for the first round fired. "King. I t'ink they found us."

As the blasts from the VTOL launch down at King, the huge warrior-ruler simply throws his shield up in the way. The bullets bouncing off the shield... denting it and tarnishing it. King glances back at Frost Man. "Maintain position. They are nothing compared to the destiny of Wily."

Barrage Raptor hops out of the dropship and quickly moves to find some kind of cover big enough to hide her form. She crouches behind it, as she attempts to assess the situation. What? You thought she was just going to run in blasting?

With a throaty hum, the dropship turns and flies off, after giving the Masters a final volley. "<You're on your own, folks. We'll stay on station for pickup.>" Saladin glances to the form of Barrage behind cover nearby, before looking around the corner of the truck at King and Frost Man. He's thinking of thinking this out, too, but running in blasting sounds tempting. "I say we leapfrog up there until backup arrives," his voice crackles at Barrage.

[Radio] Transmission detected: ... ... two out here at the entrance; ... Man and King. ... ... engage targets ... ... infantry reinforcements ... ... ...

Wind Man comes to the end of the hallway he's currently searching, and therefore doubles back, bowling over the same people he just bowled over last time, who have by now regained their footing but to no avail. Ignoring them all, he glides back to the door just past the one he started on, but finds it to not open. So he blasts it in with a concentrated burst from his windcannons, and walks inside, finding himself surrounded by wires, electronics, computers, and technology of all sort. But is it what they're looking for, or not? If only the researches would label these things better.

Shield Shellfish is down inside of the building now, having found an enterance that she has forced into. Her mission is seeming to be to protect whatever they are after. Looking and listening, she hears that statement from Flash Man, walking up carefully behind him, then stopping, "...freeze right there. What do you have with you?"

Barrage Raptor glances at Saladin, "Sounds good to me." She replies, "You fire first, I'll move up into a better position. Just give me the signal." She gets ready to move when Sal fires.

Quick Man peeks back out the door as the barrage from the ship subsides. Then he steps outside.. his much-smaller form looking child-like between the two larger Masters. "Ha! HA!" He shouts, making a rude gesture towards the carefully considering Repliforcers out there. "What, are ya scared? You should be! All shall fall before our might!"

Frost nods as the remaining pieces of the ice wall are oblirated. Hey, that's a nice outline of Frost, there... "Yea. Daddy's Destiny is greater than them!" As the VTOL propels away, Frost drives his fist through the remaining ice wall in a brutal display of brutality. "YAAA!!" He peers around. "Ok, I'm holdin' my position."

"Hiding behind cover, Repliforce?" King glares in the general area of Barrage and Saladin. He begins to slowly walk towards them... each step taken with a measured purpose. His cape blowing out as he walks. "We expected more of the United Nation's army." King laughs. "Face us if you have any honor or courage."

Saladin nods at this, pulling a switch back on his selector. This will likely waste most of this clip, but hey - excessive firepower is certainly worth it! With a smooth motion, he steps out from behind the hovertruck and crouches, bracing his MX-600 carbine at his abdomen's side as he squeezes the trigger down. The bulky weapon emits a series of of staccato coughs seperated by quarter-second intervals, spraying King and Frost's general area with armor-piercing fire while Barrage moves up.

Saladin misses Frost Man with his Mx-600 Automatic attack.

Rain Turtle arrives from the New England.

Rain Turtle has arrived.

Of course the Repliforce were going to think to shoot first - never mind about all of the hostages who might be inside at the mercy of the Robot Masters. Signas sweeps his gaze across the compound, trying to take in who has gathered here to protect the innocents, and who is launching the attacks. He shakes his head, before blinking away, vanishing as he teleports across the distance to appear nearby to the building. And he shouts, hoping to attract the attention of every Master in the location.

"ROBOT MASTERS! You are currently surrounded with no chance of escape! Drop your weapons, and you will not be harmed!" he transmits, amplifying his voice in attempt to ensure that everyone in the building can here.

Deciding that some of his opponents may be more inclined to shoot first, he punches one button on his gauntlet - thus activating his ultimate defense.

Signas projects a Diplomatic Immunity field around himself.

Previously unnoticed just behind Feste, one of the Robot Master's hovering non-combat cargo drones slowly lowers itself. <<ANAYLSIS>>, comes the drone's simplistic computerized voice, as it directs its single unblinking eye at the fool, <<ATTIRE: UNFASHIONABLE, LUDICRUOSLY EQUALS TRUE. POWER LEVEL: NEGLIGABLE.>>

The drone pauses for a moment, a series of clicks audible as it computes. <<CONCLUSION: INACTIVE DRONE, PROPERTY OF DWN ZERO-SIX-ZERO. PROCEDURE: SALVAGE>>

Having come to this conclusion, the free hovering drone moves to attempt to clamp its suction-cup-style holders onto either side of Feste's head.

Quick Man curses as Saladin opens fire. Quickly dodging to the side, behind Frost Man, he uses the larger Master as Cover until the barrage ceases. "Cowardly bastards!" He cries, springing up onto Frost Man's back. "You shall meet your end by our hand!" Maybe King's theatrical speeches have infected him a little bit. Regardless, he lets a boomerang fly towards Saladin with a low *phoot*.

Flash Man turns around. "Freeze? Oh, I'll freeze. As for what I have with me..." Suddenly the air around Shield Shellfish begins to get cold as Flash Man sprays a cone of ice out of his buster arm. Trying not to hit any experiments, he aims the cone at the shellfish, hoping that it doesn't miss and hit something important. "...it's none of your business."

Quick Man strikes Saladin with his Ballistic Boomerang attack.

Rain finally enters the scene running full speed, and slides in like Tom Cruise would do in his socks. *DUH DUH DUN DUH DUH DA DA DAH DUN!* Collapsing on the ground, panting verrrry heavily, Rain looks to the nearest ally. "What *pant* be the *pant* situation? *pant*" The poor slow turtle can't run very fast, accounting for his lack of speed to the scene.

Barrage Raptor dashes forward to a new bit of cover as Saladin opens fire on the two Masters. Finding something else to get behind, she glances back towards him. She'll give him a signal. She pops up from behind her cover, and lets loose with a pair of grenades, aimed at the same RMs that Sal just attacked.

Flash Man misses Shield Shellfish with his Frost Spray attack.

And as before, Enker simply watches.. his gaze set upon Signas for the moment. He seems to have no intentions of getting involved just yet. He takes this opportunity to sit down on the ground, against a rock, and smiles a bit as he observes the going-ons. Waiting for a nice opening in how things are going on-- at the moment, he'll stay out of it. But as far as the fighting goes, he really seems to be disinterested in how things are going.

Feste is making himself comfortable in his lawn chair, propping his feet up on a piece of random debris and putting his hands behind his head. Ahhh, chaos. Ooooh, shooting! See, this is quality entertainment. If only he'd brought a drink or two--

The computerized voice of the drone coming from directly behind him certainly startles the Fool out of his relaxation. He plants his feet back on the ground and whirls around in his chair. Oh bollocks. What is THAT? And what--?

"I am /so/ not unfashionable!" Feste cries, indignant. "Or negligible! You're negligible! And you're ugly!" With a firm 'hmph', he crosses his arms over his chest and turns back around, perhaps thinking it's over with. Little does he know... but alas. He's too foolish to, ah, get out of the way, eyes simply going wide as he senses something in very close proximity to his head.

King stands tall as the pellets from Saladin strike at his feet. The Elite remains unmoved. "Pathetic attempt, Repliforce. Wily shall see his destiny... and it shall include your ends." With that, Barrage's explosion blasts fragments over King's body. Still, he remains unmoved.

King patiently lifts his hand and unleashes a quick blast of laser power. The blast slides between Saladin and Barrage Raptor... seeming to miss. Only, it does hit something... a light post. The blast hits the glass of the light... refracting the beam back.

King strikes Barrage Raptor with his Refraction Minibeam attack.

King strikes Saladin with his Refraction Minibeam attack.

Shield Shellfish dodges the attack, it hitting the ground harmlessly as she runs to a different spot, her shells coming out this time behind her. Now she says nothing, running up to him and slapping her shells on either side of him in a clamping motion, trying to get him to freeze by herself, "I ask for your cooperation again."

Shield Shellfish misses Flash Man with her Shell Clamp attack.

Wind Man takes some small capsules from the laboratory he's currently 'investigating' and tucks them into his armor, but none of the larger experiments seem to look like what he came here for. Leaving this room, one of the guards shoots a laser blaster at him at point blank, but he is a non-combat human and therefore his firepower is pathetic and laughable, as are the levels of all of his secondary attacks. Wind Man strikes the attacker dead with a fanblade to the throat, and blows any others who might be so foolish down the hall. He then enters the neighbooring lab in the same manner as the first and sends a radio transmission to his brothers. Perhaps do to the lack of major noise he's generating, Wind Man hasn't been assaulted by any significant resistance yet, but since he's not exactly being stealthy either that's bound to change soon.

Flash Man backs up, getting barely out of the way of the shells. "Cooperation? I'll tell you what. All I have is a paper that includes notes on what I have found in the facility." He shows Shield a piece of paper. Why is he being so cooperative with the enemy? Well, it's covered in mathematical equations, but upon closer inspection it is revealed that they are copied from a math textbook. His whole plan relies on the fact that the attacker falls for it.

Metal Man arrives from the New England.

[Radio: (A) None] Barrage Raptor transmits, "It's called a fight. Now start killing someone."

Since Frost was completely NOT ready, he catches the grenade. in the head. It explodes and cause an obscene amount of pain. As the smoke clears he looks...well...enraged. He hits that mode of looking for something moving that doesn't resemble one of his brothers. And about that time is when Rain Turtle makes his graceful entrance. Seething, he stews a moment, before letting out a battlecry that is, above all, completely nonsensable. Powering his massive girth across the field, he builds his rage all into this one amazing attack.

A swift kick to the butt.

Frost Man misses Rain Turtle with his Kick attack.

Barrage Raptor points and laughs at King, until the shot reflects and hits her in the back, "Now that was cheap." She growls, "Fine then, you want to fight, King?! Let's do this!" She leaps from behind her cover and rushes at King, whipping out her assault rifle and firing upon him.

Barrage Raptor strikes King with her Ar-283 Custom attack.

[Radio: (A) None] Corporal Rain Turtle grunts as he rolls off the ground

A dull clong echoes off of Saladin's armor as the boomerang strikes him, while he exits from cover. While Barrage chucks grenades, Saladin rushes past her, bounding over her cover with a leap and a roll as King's attack washes over his armor in a shower of sparks. His heavy form clunks along as he comes up into a crouch along a building nearing the laboratory, the two Repliforcers slowly closing that 50 yard gap. He raises his carbine again, firing a three-round burst at King, as Saladin's appraised him to be the most dangerous target at the moment. He doesn't want to waste more of this magazine with another full-auto spray, anyways.

Saladin strikes King with his Mx-600 Burst attack.

Quick Man watches King come under fire from both Saladin and Barrage. "Ignore me, will you?" He cries, sounding somewhat insulted. "We'll see about that!" He leaps down and charges up behind Saladin.. going fast. Really fast. He's tearing up the ground, before he launches himself off of it.. attempting to smash into Saladin and knock him to the ground.

Long distance to Wind Man: Feste mutters. I don't have too much time left, alas.

Quick Man strikes Saladin with his Speed Tackle attack.

<<OBJECTION REJECTED>>, replies the automated drone voice, as it rises upwards lifting Feste about a foot off of the ground <<ANALYSIS CONFIRMS INACTIVE DRONE. INACTIVE DRONES MAY BE UNSTABLE. UNSTABLE DRONES MUST BE NEUTRALIZED FOR SECURITY. CONFIRM INSTABILITY?>>

Rain looks around, to see people blasting away at each other, and gets up. There's no time for explanations, only time for Rain to take action! Rolling up onto his feet, he feels a slight rumble as he looks back to where he was just laying. There is a large Robot Master, who would seem to have just missed kicking Rain literally in the arse. With his back still to Frost, Rain opens his missile ports and preps some of his weaker missiles... And launches them.

Rain Turtle misses Frost Man with his Terrapin Missile attack.

... not cool. Not at all. The Fool is lifted right off of his lawn chair in a most uncomfortable manner. His first reflex is to grab at the arms that are attached to his head, and squirm. Kick, kick. The lawn chair is knocked over with a loud clatter. Smart, Feste. Real smart.

"Am /not/!" he repeats stubbornly. "I am not inactive, I am not unstable, I am n-- put me DOWN!" Certainly doesn't LOOK stable.

As the two Repliforcers concentrate on King... the Elite takes several steps back. The Elite growls in anger. "So, two of you attack us. Let it be this way... We will crush you under our foot." King walks towards them slowly. "Prepare to face the might of King." King places his shield in the way of attacks. "We shall crush you under foot."

Shield Shellfish looks at the paper, then narrows her optics, or at least the light coming from it, then she looks back to Flash, "A decoy. This is just a decoy to keep me from finding the real problem." They narrow even more, "I do not appreciate this. So if you would kindly..." Her shell flies forward from behind her, curved outward toward the face of Flash Man, "...get out of my way."

King brings his reflect system online.

You intercept Wind Man's transmission to Enker: Acknowledged, commander. We are searching for an experiment called 'Zeroft,' but judging from the radio response and ambient violence, I suspect all of the others have already encountered too much resistance. Unfortunately I estimate a low bot nonzero probability of success if this is true.

Saladin eyes King. He's leaving his defensive position; this would be the perfect opportunity to rush past and completely negate the Elite's defensive efforts, if Saladin can manage to get by. He looks sidelong at Barrage, to see what she's doing,

Frost Man had a little too much force in that kick, and manages to throw himself off his feet as the missiles scream by. Blinking, he rolls up to his feet and stops dead still. This is new. Frost looks around at the rest of the field and then back to Rain. Definately a totally new experience. He points a mitten at Rain Turtle, as code kicks in.

"You're bigger den me....so I gotta smash you extra good." He draws this into something really fun. Taking a few steps forward, he aims an a giant open mittened pimp slap at Rain. OH SNAP!

Enker sends a radio transmission.

Well, he didn't really expect them to listen to him. But he did have to hope as well. Signas shakes his head, and deactivates his loudspeaker, before looking about and trying to ensure he had the coordinates and locations of all of the fighters present. There were likely going to be some inside as well, but for the moement... it all appared to be good. And so the Diplomat strides out onto the field, and raises one of his arms in front of him, a like *ka-CHACK* coming from within the guard of his right hand. "Alright then, if you're going to keep this up - I have no choice but to stop you," he comments quietly to himself. Come Masters - let us see who is best girded for battle this day.

Rain starts turning around, to hear Frost talk like that. Rain may be stupid himself, and talk funny, but he has NEVER heard anyone talk like that. Collapsing onto his knees, and then his stomach, Rain pounds the ground, laughing uncontrollably, creating a booming laugh that echoes in a 3 mile radius. Collapsing like this, Rain unknowingly dodges Frost's attack. Looking up from his laughter, Rain sees Frost's leg. Thinking surprisingly quickly, which is in fact, slower than anyone here, Rain attempts to bite the big Robot Master on his leg.

Flash Man flies backward, hitting a wall. "Alright, it's not the real information. But if I wanted you to have the real one then I would've given it to you. I didn't, now did I?" He laughs and points his buster toward Shellfish. "Now you'll see what I do when I'm not given an alternative." It begins to spark and his head bulb begins to glow. The sparks dance through the air, zeroing in on their target as Flash Man gets ready to run in case the clam gets angrier.

Rain Turtle strikes Frost Man with his Bite attack.

Barrage Raptor gives Sal a hand motion, telling him to go, as she eyes King, "Oh, like I'm so scared." She says, "You're just another Wilybot. Some mismash of parts that the old man threw together while on too much crack." She reaches a hand behind her back, "I almost feel pity for you. But don't worry, your suffering won't last too much longer." Whipping her hand out from behind her back, she launches something at King.

Now, Enker finally rises-- and moves forward to enter the facility, after speaking on his radio for a bit.. and seems to be replying to someone. He's making for Wind Man, though he isn't really sure what /precisely/ it is that they are looking for. Something about nanites? Eh. Oh well. He just chuckles, as he makes his way inwards. He shows no signs of hostilities at the moment, not raising his mirror buster to strike out at anyone for the moment.

Saladin eyes King. He's leaving his defensive position; this would be the perfect opportunity to rush past and completely negate the Elite's defensive efforts, if Saladin can manage to get by. He looks sidelong at Barrage, to see what she's doing. As she gives him the signal, he stands and ducks as he runs forward, attempting to rush right by King's flank, about twenty yards to the left. The blast of C-4 certainly covers his advance, the entrance to the lab now much, much closer than it was when he first deployed.

[Radio] Transmission detected: Anywhere you guys need ... ... ... ... ... ... of the ...

Shield Shellfish dodges to the right of that blast, just the same angry...but angry none the less. She notes the door that he pointed his head out of to talk to someone outside. Her eyes then move toward Flash again. "Since you don't have the ability to get out of my way on your own, let me help you." Her shell comes out, sparking with electricity this time as a large amount arcs toward Flash, hopefully punching him out the door.

Shield Shellfish strikes Flash Man with her Shellshock attack.

"YEEEAAAAOOOOO!" howls Frost as the giant turtle chomps down on his leg. He tries his best to shake his leg, and flail at the turtle for release. Oh, insufferable pain, WHY? "Leggo!Leggo!Leggo!Leggo!" Growling he reaches down and tries to get a good grip on Rain Turtle. From there, he tries to do what few even have a hope of achieving. He tries to flip Rain over his head, and hopefully pull that mouth from his leg in the process.

Frost Man strikes Rain Turtle with his Throw attack.

<<INSTABILITY CONFIRMED,>> reports the drone, <<COMMENSING NEUTRALIZATION>>. From a hatch panel in the front of the drone's main section, a gloved hand extends outwards on a jointed metal 'arm', carrying what looks like a baseball bat. This neutralizing instrument is swiftly conked down on Feste's head as the drone moves to carry him off to salvage storage.

"Old Man? Too much crack? Mismash?" King's optics tighten down on Barrage Raptor. "You will pay for your insolence." It would appear King is completely concentrating on killing Barrage as he marches towards her. He fights old school... in formation towards his enemy. And then out the corner of his optics, he spots the incoming Saladin. King's hand lashes out and attempts to grab the moving enemy by the throat. "Where do you think you are going?"

King misses Saladin with his Neck Crush attack.

Flash Man takes the hit but seems to almost absorb it.

Quick Man ricochets off Saladin after knocking him to the ground, doing a somersault in the air and landing on his feet. "That's right, 'foo!" He shouts, making another rude gesture. "That's what you get for ignoring me! A little of that, and a little of this!" He points his arm at Saladin and lets loose yet again. Boomerang time!

Quick Man strikes Saladin with his Boomerang Blaster attack.

King drops outside.

Barrage Raptor loves pissing off Robot Masters. Because then they do stupid things like not pay attention to her. The clip from her assault rifle drops to the ground as she slams a new one into the reciever, and pulls back on the bolt, feeding a new round into the chamber, "Bad idea!" She fires on King again, sending out a burst of high explosive firepower.

Barrage Raptor strikes King with her Ar-283 Custom - Explosive Rounds attack.

[Radio: (D) Informant] Super Anonymous Feste is rather choppy in his speech, but when he does get out a few steady words, he sounds /quite/ indignant. "Ugh--ah-- help-- being STOLEN-- hel--" A loud 'THWACK' is heard in the background.

Frost Man has left.

Metal Man is here powling the battle feild stalking RF Gumbies like some sort of bladed god of death. He is toying with on in particulr some green troopering using just light Gears. "Come on! Your nothing to me! You can't win!"

[Radio: (D) Informant] Ayla Ericson transmits, "...hello?"

[Radio: (D) Informant] Super Anonymous Feste transmits static.

Flash Man takes the hit but seems to almost absorb it. "Get out of your way? My, my... I didn't think you were so pushy. Here, I'll give you room to leave, if you want. But you'd better make it QUICK!" He fires a small grenade onto the ground. He doesn't want to blow any experiments up, but desperate times call for desperate measures. The grenade begins to glow, building up power. It's gonna blow!

Signas has arrived.

Flash Man strikes Shield Shellfish with his Light Bombs attack.

Well now, here was someone who was - most likely - in charge of this effort. Which meant he might also be reasoned with - and so Signas moves rapidly, blinking away for a moment before reappearing in a flash of yellow and black energy a short distance in front of the Elite Commander. And Signas pulls out... a cigarette, lighting it with a snap of his fingers as he looks at Enker. "Well, I didn't expect you to be leading something this trivial, Enker. Don't the Elites usually spectate in armchairs, after all?" he asks, sounding a bit amused at the entire prospect.

Shield Shellfish gently steps away, before placing her shells up in front of her, keeping her eye on Flash Man almost beside her as the bombs go off, then gently brings one shell around, picking off a piece of glass that was the only damage as she looks to him, before dropping what looks like a pearl...set on a lower timer right next to the Master.

Shield Shellfish strikes Flash Man with her Pearl Bomber attack.

[Radio: (D) Informant] Ayla Ericson transmits, "Weird. Though wouldn't a person be kidnapped? Mind you if the thieves didn't really care, I guess the object would be stolen... hmm."

[Radio: (D) Informant] Super Anonymous Feste still transmits static, but if he were conscious, he'd probably say something like, 'aughaughaguh HELP.'

Simian Monk arrives from the New England.

Simian Monk has arrived.

Wind Man gazes around the second room, finding it filled mostly with tanks of water of various colors, mostly unnatural blues and greens. Do nanites live in water? Probably not, as far as Wind Man knows, but then what does he know about nanites? At least two of the tanks contain fair sized metallic objects, so he smashes his fist through the glass and takes those, the water pouring out all over the floor. In the back corner of the room is a large computer and a storage case, but Wind Man decides this is unlikely to be the proper location, so he skips them to save time.

"No!" yelps the Fool, still squirming ineffectively. Having been grabbed from the rear, he can't see the fate that awaits him... and is thus conked on the head.

"You c--" Whatever he was about to say is cut off by the ensuing blow, which shuts his mouth quite forcefully. He stops squirming, and simply goes limp in the drone's grasp.

Well. Doesn't that suck. Looks like the Fool will be spending a little time with the Robot Masters... whether he likes it or not.

[Radio: (G) None] Simian Monk transmits, "Evening. Any news today?"

[Radio: (G) None] Signas transmits, "We've got a disturbance - Master raid taking place in the Midwest."

<<NEUTRALIZATION CONFIRMED>>, drones the drone, and it almost-silently hovers off, with Feste secured in its clamps. The drone curves around to the drone's entrance to the Stealth Transport, which opens as it detects its proximity, and closes again behind it once the cargo is deposited.

[Radio: (G) None] Simian Monk transmits, "Need any more assistance?"

"... Hmph." Enker just shakes his head as Signas blinks into sight, "I was only observing for the majority of the time. It seems that one of my subordinates needs assistance. Should I not heed this call?" He asks, as he clicks on his radio and begins to speak into it. Though he then turns his gaze upon Signas, "Would you like to move, or is this little dispute going to turn nasty?" Enker asks, bringing his mirror buster forward, a light shining from it briefly.

Enker brings his reflect system online.

Enker sends a radio transmission.

Wind Man receives a radio transmission.

You intercept Enker's transmission to Wind Man: Signas has interrupted me. I'll be there if I can.

Flash Man flies out of the building's entrance and struggles to his feet. "There, you got me out, but I'm still in the fight." He rushes toward the shellfish with his Buster in front... but instead of firing off bombs or snowcones, he extends a metallic blade from it and attempts to slash Shelldon in two. (Yeah, like that'll ever happen...) However, he moves the blade around while coming toward his opponent, so as not to show where he is trying to strike. (Of course, he himself doesn't know. Wherever it lands, and hopefully it hits something solid.)

Flash Man strikes Shield Shellfish with his Flash Blade Combo attack.

[Radio: (G) None] Simian Monk transmits, "Anyways, I am en route. What's the situation?"
