Too much gas - flooding Usually start right up from cold - accelerates well. Runs up in rpm until it reaches saturation and then it sputters and spits. Black or white smoke from exhaust. Generally just adjustment to fix. Too little gas - starving Hard to start - hard to accelerate - low power - seems to run smoothly if not in idle circuit but only until a certain rpm is reached then cant go any faster. Very little if any exhaust smoke. Generally dirty carburetor or air leak." |
