Thanks to Gary for this entry. (Submitted August 25th 2004)

I bought the Spree in July of 03 for a local Police Auction for $100. The spree had been stole and never claimed that’s how it ended up at the auction. When I got the spree home, all it needed was a muffler. So after getting that (used) I was ready to ride. Be it that I’m only 15 (January ill be able to legally ride it) I thought that this would be a great think to tweak and mess with to see what I could do.

I rode the Spree up and around my neighborhood. Well my friend wanted to try it, so I let him and he was doing about 25 and just smacked right into my fence and basically totaled the front end. After about 1month of rebuilding it was back in working order. That was the last time I rode it that summer.

All my friends have Go-Peds or other types of scooter and try and try to get more power. They talk smack about the spree because it doesn’t look tough, but that all changed when they get whooped in races. So I defiantly would choose a Spree over a Go-Ped any day and I plan to make this spree like big and bad, some day.

This summer it sat and sat until August when my interest was revamped. I began to ride it and fix and tune it, so far I’ve clean the carburetor, air filter and box, I’ve cleaned the carbon of the head and muffler, I plan to finalize my COLD AIR INTAKE system, which is a first that I’ve seen
on a spree (yea that’s right Numero Uno hehe) But overall this spree has seen a lot and has been ridden rough and taken it like a champ. I still continue to get the max power out of it.
