Determining year

The very first thing you’ll want to do after getting an old Spree is to change out the fluids for new stuff. Change the gas and oil.

Next if you have a little extra money, buy a new sparkplug. Trust me its a lot easier to spend a buck fifty than working on your spree for hours only to find out that its a fouled plug.

One of the main reasons that these old Honda 2-stroke engines don’t work is due to a dirty carburetor. If you have a little time, clean it out.

50% of the time if you do these things to a Spree straight out of storage, it will be fixed. If its not, don’t worry, this website is full of info to get it going.
